Usaquén is a neighborhood we love by its history, architecture, food, and designer shop scene. It resembles all the different times in Bogotá’s history. In the colonial period in the 17th century, the church with a gold-plated altar served as a place to convert Muiscas to Catholicism. Years later, it became a small town next to Bogotá. And years after, the place where dozens of aristocratic families wanted to live and build with eclectic styles. On Sundays, Usaquen has the city’s best flea market, and its food scene is highly recognized as one of the best in the city.
